Wade Dixon
Wade Dixon, Owner / Operator

“Working the corporate ladder,” Dixon Foods Owner / Operator, Wade Dixon, joined the family business at the age of 12, wiping down tables and cleaning bathrooms. While attending college in Wilson, NC at Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College), Wade learned about the operations of Dixon Foods both in the restaurants and the office.

After graduating from college, and marrying Kim, Wade completed the management development program at Hamburger University in 1988. Wade became a McDonald's franchisee in 1989 and continues to expand the Dixon Foods market. Wade, his wife and two daughters reside in Wilson with their dog, a beloved Schnoodle. Wade is a very "hands-on" owner/operator, and enjoys helping his managers and staff achieve professional growth.

Tim Sollars
Tim Sollars, Director of Operations

Tim likes to tell the story that he started with Dixon Foods 700 years ago, and he has had a cell phone attached to him 24-hours a day ever since. The truth is, he did start when he was only 16. He worked as a McDonald's cook until college, when he decided to pursue a management position.

At 21, Tim attended McDonald's Hamburger University and became a store manager at age 22. He managed stores throughout eastern North Carolina for 10 years and then was promoted to area supervisor. In 2004 Tim became Director of Operations, overseeing all Dixon Foods' restaurants. Tim resides in Goldsboro with his family and a wonderful Lab named Lucy. Tim's three children are ages 21 (already working for Dixon Foods), 17 and 7, and all of them still love Happy Meals.
